What are the dates the Convening?
Thursday & Friday, March 2-3, 2023.
Where will the convening take place?
The Convening will take place at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
Do I need an invitation to attend?
Yes, an invitation from the IMLS is required. Invitations are non-transferrable.
How do I RSVP?
Please RSVP by completing the RSVP form. You will need the passcode that was included in your invitation.
What is the deadline to RSVP?
Friday, January 27th
Where can I find the latest agenda?
The latest agenda will be posted to the convening website when available. We anticipate starting on Thursday, March 2nd at 8:30 am ET and concluding on Friday, March 3rd at 2:00 pm ET.
Is there a fee to attend the Convening?
There is no cost to attend. However, as mentioned above, the meeting is by invitation only.
Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend the Convening?
At this time, the National Press Club has lifted their COVID vaccination requirement. Therefore, attendees will not be asked to show proof of vaccination upon entry. Should this policy change, we will notify attendees immediately.
Will my expenses be covered?
The IMLS will cover the cost of airfare, hotel accommodations, per diem, and local transportation for all invited participants. Instructions for booking travel will be sent to approved attendees shortly after they RSVP.
Will the Convening be available to virtual participants?
The event will not be available for virtual participation. However, recordings of keynote sessions and a full conference proceedings will be published following the event.
